1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide secure authentication, remember user preferences, and supply aggregated analytics data.
2. Cookies Used by InitLnk
A. Strictly Necessary & Authentication Cookies
Essential for you to log into your account, maintain secure sessions, and verify API requests. Without these cookies, the dashboard cannot function. (e.g. better-auth.session_token).
B. Functional & Preference Cookies
Used to remember your UI choices, such as Dark Mode vs Light Mode preference (theme cookie) and annual vs monthly billing views.
C. Short Link Redirects (Cookie-Free Edge Routing)
When end-users click an InitLnk short URL, our edge network performs instant HTTP 302 redirection. We do not set persistent tracking cookies on end-visitor devices during the redirect process.
3. Managing Your Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control and delete cookies through their settings preferences. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging into your InitLnk dashboard.
